Aims
- Increased housing starts. Particularly first home buyer ‘entry level’ housing. Drawing the public’s attention to the fact that Australia already has affordable housing. What it doesn’t have is affordable land.
- Increased trade contractor numbers. Overcoming the obstacles to young people, mature age workers and skilled migrants entering the housing industry.
- Decreased regulation. Stopping the avalanche of planning, environmental, building, OH&S and business regulation that is choking our industry.
Objectives
Supporting any cause which contributes to the achievement of the above aims including publicity campaigns, political activity, lobbying and legal challenges.
